Records
Scan, identify and catalog your CD, vinyl and cassette collection.
Point your camera at a barcode and Records looks it up, fills in the details, and files it away. Everything lives on your device — no accounts, no ads, no product analytics.
Scan a barcode, get the details
Records identifies a release from its barcode or catalog number, pulling title, artist, tracklist, cover art and label information from Discogs, with MusicBrainz as a fallback when Discogs comes up empty.
Your collection lives on your device
Once a release is added, Records works without a network. Browsing, searching and editing your collection never depends on a connection — lookups are the only thing that does.
Track more than one copy
Own the same album on CD and on vinyl, or two different pressings? Records tracks each copy separately, with its own condition, notes and storage location — and flags duplicates as you scan.
Know where everything is
Give your collection real places — a shelf at home, a box in the car, a friend's apartment — and Records tracks which copy lives where, so "do I own this, and where is it" is one search away.
Keep a wishlist
Save releases you're after separately from your collection, and move them across the moment you pick one up.
No accounts, no ads, no tracking
There's nothing to sign up for. Records doesn't show advertising, build advertising profiles, or use product analytics. Read the full Privacy Policy for exactly what data the app handles and why.
